What is an ultracapacitor?
An ultracapacitor is an energy storage technology that offers high power density, near-instantaneous charging and discharging, high reliability, extreme temperature resistance, and a lifespan of more than 1,000,000 charge/discharge cycles. Supercapacitors have been in development for decades, but the biggest step in development has only occurred in the last 15 years, driven by advances in nanomaterials, with Skeleton's bent graphene being a prime example of a breakthrough technology.
